York Bird of Prey Centre

York Bird of Prey Centre is fantastic for nature lovers as you have the chance to get really close to these stunning birds, most of which have been hand reared and are safe to handle. The birds are carefully chosen to be examples whom enjoy your attention so there are no distressed birds who are tired of company. So fun for everyone!

The Centre has a daily programme of events, which begins with bird handling, followed by an interesting talk about medieval history and how it relates to birds of prey. Then there is a flying demonstration, where participation is encouraged, so this is a great chance for a close up and maybe a photo opportunity, say Cheese!
