Attraction Information
Wolseley Centre is an ideal place for all ages to get back to nature, set in 26 acres of beautiful grounds that offers plenty for the kids to do. Best of all, it is free to visit!
If the little ones want to burn off some steam, there are nature trails to explore, plus a weaving network of paths, which are great for pushchair and wheelchair access. Kids will love the Play Trail, which contains 11 natural play features for them to climb, jump, run and splash around!
They can pretend to be a mole in the knobbly knoll tunnels, make a noise on the fishy sound sculptures, and play on the welly splash bridge. The boardwalk, which weaves above the marshland and pools, is a great spot to look out for wildlife or have a picnic.
There is a wildlife garden that shows ways to attract wildlife, with a pond, bird feeding station, bug hotel and more! Kids will also enjoy the Sensory garden, which is full of interesting sights, sounds and smells.
Whenever you visit, you will see plenty of plants and flowers, plus a large variety of birds and insects. Look out for kingfishers on the river.
