Attraction Information
Chasewater Country Park is an excellent place to take the kids to play, as there is a lot of space, plus a number of activities for everyone to enjoy.
The 360 hectares is home to many birds and animals, and has some rare habitats to explore. The lake is a great place for the family to walk, run, or cycle around, with plenty of different waterfowl to spot and feed, including ducks and swans.
The lake is also used for water skiing, wakeboarding, zorbing, donut rides, and sailing.
There are plenty of excellent paths to use, however you and the kids choose to travel along them, and they also provide easy access for pushchairs and wheelchairs. You can also bring the dog with you, but as always, please clean up after them.
Other activities are often available, especially at the weekends, and include the Chasewater steam railway, mini fairs, pedal go karts, and Crazy golf (During the school holidays). There are also regular exhibitions in the Forest of Mercia Innovation Centre.
