The Beach
The sandy beach, excellent water and first-rate facilities has made this beach a staple favourite with generations of families and visitors who flock here to make the most of this unspoilt part of the British coastline, surrounded by teaming wildlife and birds! Play hide and seek in the golden sand dunes, live out your mermaid/merman fantasies in the sea or whip out your woolly plaid blankets and have the ultimate beach picnic.
Beach Activities
There’s room for everyone to enjoy the waves, as kite surfers and windsurfers bounce off the break while little ones paddle safely in the flat, glassy lagoons left at low tide. Forgotten your bucket and spade? Don’t worry! The beach shop has everything you need to make the most of your day. There's so much beach space to utilise and explore on your coastal adventure!
Food & Drink
The fantastic beach café sells coffee; ice cream and takeaway food or you can enjoy your own picnic on the area of grass.
Dogs
West Wittering Beach welcomes dogs everywhere along the beach from the end of September to the end of April. However, please note that restrictions do apply during the summer months. From May to September, dogs are allowed on the beach but only outside groynes 14A-18.
