With beautiful gardens and 1,000 acres of country park to explore there’s something for everyone. Uncover the park's past with over 200 years of history, including the remains of former buildings and the follies dotted across the park. Take a wander around The Coach House that is home to our shop and our interpretation area, which tells the history of Staunton Country Park.
The Regency Tea Rooms have a competitively priced selection of fair trade teas – the perfect drink for any Staunton history buff as well as plenty of locally sourced delicious food.
Over 200 years of history
Staunton Country Park is a historic estate with beautifully landscaped parkland, at its prime in the Regency period, which has been redeveloped into a visitor attraction.
Over the last 200 years several different families have left their mark on the landscape, and these different influences can be uncovered across the park.

We’ve also got our outdoor play area for kids to let off steam. And the lookout is a fabulous spot to enjoy too. This interactive structure offers the chance to take in our amazing scenery and get a bird’s eye view of the mansion outline.
