Touchstones Museum and Gallery

Kids are not allowed to touch anything in museums - boring, right? Touchstones Museum in Rochdale, however, is different. Created to make history engaging for the whole family, it has so many hands-on features in the exhibitions that you won’t be able to cover them all in one visit. The little ones will be asking you to come back for more, that’s for sure!

Touchstones also organises regular children's activities. For example, if you’ve got tots (0-5) you can join the usual Creative Sessions, which take place every Thursday. Love the educational entertainment & the friendly staff? You can even host your kid’s next birthday party at the Touchstones Art Cafe.
