About Potteries Museum & Art Gallery
Travel back in time and discover the history of the Potteries and of Staffordshire. See the largest hoard of Anglo-Saxon gold ever found on display, plus the world's finest collection of Staffordshire ceramics, Reginald Mitchell's WW2 Spitfire, Ozzy the famous pottery owl and all sorts of art and craft.
It's fun for artistic or curious minds of all ages to see the unique collection of works of art housed here including Picasso, Degas and Durer plus national touring shows. Enjoy our changing exhibition programme: including family friendly exhibitions and activities throughout the summer holidays and take time out to enjoy a light lunch in our Cafe Museum or browse in The Foyer shop.
Well worth picking up some air dry clay or Femo in advance so you can let the kids express their inspiration at home after the visit. A hundred years from now their pot could be in there too!
