The company produces an enormous 1.3 million pieces of pottery every year which means a veritable army of jiggers, jolliers, fettlers, casters and decorators are constantly beavering away. Learn all about what they do on a tour of the Victorian factory and see how a lump of clay becomes a personalised mug, a precious nick-nack and much more. Grown-ups could even nab a bargain in the discount factory outlet.
The Bridgewater team are always pleased to meet aspiring artists and help them get crafty in the Decorating Studio. Pick out a classic piece of pottery and see what your team of tots come up with, whether that be splashes of colour or a roaring dinosaur! The experts will hold their hand throughout the process so kids can just focus on getting arty farty.
