Rudyard Lake Steam Railway
About Rudyard Lake Steam Railway
The Rudyard Lake Steam Railway uses miniature narrow gauge steam engines on its trains to give a 3 mile return trip along the side of Rudyard Lake.
The railway uses coal fired steam engines on all its trains. One of the UK's finest heritage steam railways and is constantly developing new attractions to give great family days out.
Their steam trains are equivalent to about half the size of a narrow gauge railway with 10.25 inch gauge tracks. The trains run whatever the weather so you're all good for British Summer as they have covered coaches.
