Stay longer, save more - Short Breaks at Alton Towers

One day at Alton Towers is brilliant. Two days is unforgettable.

If you're thinking about making a proper break of it, Alton Towers Resort has five uniquely themed places to stay - all on site, all steps from the rides. The iconic Alton Towers Hotel puts you right in the heart of the resort, while Splash Landings Hotel is the one for families who want easy access to the Waterpark. For something a little different, the Enchanted Village Woodland Lodges and Stargazing Pods offer a more secluded, nature-filled stay - perfect for families who want to slow down between the thrills.

And then there's the CBeebies Land Hotel - the UK's only CBeebies-themed hotel, where bedrooms are designed around your children's favourite characters and the magic starts long before you reach the park gates.

Short Break packages include a delicious breakfast, free Extraordinary Golf, and free car parking - which alone saves you £13 to £15 compared with a standard day visit. Short Break prices vary by date, accomodation and package type. Check live availability first.

If you're already planning a day visit, it's worth checking whether a Short Break works out better value for your family before you book.

Seasonal Events & Themed Accomodation

Make your Alton Towers visit even bigger with seasonal events and themed stays throughout the year. Summer 2026 brings Minecraft: Meet the Mobs from 18 July to 28 August, included with tickets and passes, while later highlights include Scarefest, Fireworks and Christmas on selected dates. Families can also turn a day out into a short break with Alton Towers Hotel, Splash Landings Hotel, the Enchanted Village, Stargazing Pods or the CBeebies Land Hotel.

Bluey the Ride: Here Come the Grannies!

New for 2026, Bluey the Ride: Here Come The Grannies brings the world’s first Bluey junior coaster to CBeebies Land. Families can join Bluey and Bingo for a colourful, giggle-filled ride through Bluey’s backyard, with playful details designed especially for younger children and Bluey fans. It is included with standard Alton Towers theme park admission, making it a must-do for preschoolers and early primary-age visitors.
