Rand Farm Park
Market Rasen, LincolnshireAbout Rand Farm Park
Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, just outside the historic city of Lincoln, Rand Farm Park is one of the region’s most loved family attractions, offering a full day packed with adventure, animals, entertainment and hands-on experiences for children and adults alike. Designed especially for families with younger children, Rand Farm Park combines the charm of a real working farm with the excitement of indoor and outdoor play, seasonal events and immersive family experiences, making every visit feel special from the moment you arrive.
Home to lots of friendly animals, the farm offers children the opportunity to connect with animals up close in a safe, welcoming and interactive environment. Visitors can meet goats, sheep, pigs, cows, alpacas, ponies, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens and many more farmyard favourites throughout the day. One of the biggest highlights for many families is the chance to bottle-feed lambs (seasonal) and calves during daily feeding sessions, giving children a truly memorable hands-on farm experience. Small animal handling sessions also take place throughout the day, where little ones can meet chicks, rabbits and guinea pigs while learning more about life on the farm from the friendly farm team. Depending on the season, visitors may even witness live lambing or meet newborn animals during special event periods.
The adventure continues far beyond the animal paddocks, with a huge variety of indoor and outdoor activities included within admission. Children can climb, slide and explore the enormous indoor soft play barn, perfect for burning off energy whatever the weather. Outside, the adventure playgrounds are packed with climbing frames, slides, swings and interactive play equipment designed for a wide range of ages. Families can race around on pedal go-karts and pedal tractors, challenge each other to crazy golf, bounce high on the giant jumping pillows and enjoy plenty of open space to run, play and explore.
Visitors can also hop aboard a tractor ride through the outdoor paddocks for a relaxing countryside journey around parts of the farm, while seasonal attractions add even more excitement throughout the year. During selected periods, guests can practice their aim at archery, ride the popular Skyrider and take part in additional adventure activities depending on the season and event programme. Every visit offers something different, helping families return again and again throughout the year.
Rand Farm Park has also become widely known for its large-scale themed events and immersive seasonal experiences, attracting visitors from across Lincolnshire and beyond. Throughout the year, the farm transforms for exciting events including Lambing Live, Easter celebrations, Jurassic Farm Park, Character Weekends, Pumpkin Festival and the hugely popular Real Christmas Experience. These events feature live entertainment, themed shows, interactive activities, music, games, characters and special meet-and-greets, creating unforgettable family memories during every season.
During Jurassic Farm Park, dinosaurs roam the farm with live shows, dinosaur encounters, ranger activities and themed entertainment bringing prehistoric adventures to life. Easter events feature immersive storytelling, Easter Bunny appearances, interactive experiences and family-friendly entertainment, while Pumpkin Festival transforms the farm into a huge autumn celebration filled with pumpkins, entertainment, themed décor, games and live attractions. At Christmas, the farm becomes home to The Real Christmas Experience, an immersive festive adventure featuring magical characters, interactive theatrical scenes, Santa’s Grotto, gingerbread decorating, festive storytelling and much more.
Food and drink are a huge part of the experience too, with multiple on-site cafés and catering outlets serving a wide range of meals, snacks, drinks, cakes and sweet treats throughout the day. Families can relax with a coffee while children continue to play nearby, and spacious indoor and outdoor seating areas provide plenty of room to unwind and enjoy the countryside surroundings.
Rand Farm Park is designed to offer excellent value for a full family day out, with the vast majority of attractions, activities and entertainment included within admission. Free parking is available on-site, and the mix of indoor and outdoor attractions makes it an ideal destination whatever the weather. The park is also popular with schools, nurseries and group visits thanks to its educational farm experiences and welcoming environment.
Whether you’re visiting for a relaxing countryside day with the family, meeting animals for the first time, enjoying adventure play, attending one of the farm’s famous seasonal events or simply creating special memories together, Rand Farm Park offers a fun-filled experience where families can laugh, learn, play and explore together all year round.
