Billinghay Swimming Pool
Lincoln, LincolnshireAbout Billinghay Swimming Pool
Billinghay Swimming Pool is a community run 25m x 10m heated, open air pool with cool little slide and a beach corner sandpit based play area for the little ones.
It's a pleasant swim with qualified lifeguards and a few friendly volunteers in attendance at all times. Wet suits would be advised on windy or chilly days for the smalls and remember that of course it is weather dependent so use the link to keep an eye out for a change of plan courtesy of British Summer!
Hot and cold drinks are available from the kiosk as are ice creams but not much more so feel free to bring sandwiches etc to eat on the grass or tables. Pool water is checked twice daily by technicians and at regular intervals by the Environmental Health Service. The whistle is blown 15 minutes prior to the given closing times so they can get everyone out and cover the pool etc. so be sure to arrive in plenty of time for a good old family splash about!
