Attraction Information
Set amid the historic Pittville Estate and includes Pittville Pump Room. Car parking is available behind the pump room, on Ablemarle Gate Road and on Evesham Road. The park is split in half by the Evesham Road, access via underpass.
The pump room side has an extensive fenced play area, and a Peacock Palace (which as well as the aforementioned includes guinea pigs, lop eared rabbits, chipmunks and fancy birds). The toilets are close to this play area.
The award winning central cross cafe is along the footpath from the stone bridge. The trees around the cafe are great to explore.
West of the Evesham Road, visitors can take a circular walk along side the lake, and take in the new linear waterside natural play park and cross the new community bridge with it's locally inspired (by local school children) decorative art work.
Other facilities such as pitch and putt golf, tennis and refreshments are all available seasonally from the boat house. A skate park is next to the fenced tennis courts.
During the summer months the boathouse is open (subject to weather conditions) and boat hire is available.
The two lakes have resident ducks and swans which many visitors like to feed (they recommend feeding grain in small amounts if possible rather than bread, please).
