About 270 Climbing Park
Set on the edge of the Cotswolds in between Cheltenham and Gloucester, 270 Climbing Park is already home to one of Europe’s tallest and the UK’s newest and most exciting high ropes course and activity tower. In time, the Park will also become one of the most comprehensive bouldering and climbing gyms in the UK with a range of indoor and outdoor adventure activities.
The high ropes course offer an exciting, inspiring challenge, with many unique features that can’t be found anywhere else in the country. There are over 60 testing obstacles across six different levels to overcome. Starting from a gentle 1 metre from the ground, the course soars up to the clouds (well, almost!) to a dizzying 18 metres high.
Which of the levels you can access will depend on a few factors such as being a certain age and height, and certain ages will require adult supervision. Some of the levels also have multiple routes, but whichever ones you experience they all offer a heady test of strength, balance – and nerve!
In addition to being the starting point for the ropes course platforms, there’s also a number of adrenaline-inducing activities to be found on the awesome Activity Tower! Standing at 22m high it’s the tallest tower of its kind in Europe! There are currently three exciting activities to choose from – a 18m high Freefall jump, a classic Zip Line and fun Leap of Faith element with plans to introduce even more activities of the highest order in the future.
If you get a chance in-between the aerial action, you can enjoy some truly spectacular views of the Cotswold hills and Gloucestershire countryside!
Due to increases in material and construction costs, the Park is opening in phases throughout 2023 and beyond. Once complete, 270 Climbing Park will be an incredibly impressive and welcoming attraction for friends and families as well as a unique facility for adrenaline seekers, experienced and novice climbers of all ages and abilities.

Opened in April 2023 our ropes course has unique features that can’t be found anywhere else in the country - like our racecourse routes on Level 5 and the 'mission impossible' route on Level 6.
We have over 60 testing obstacles across six challenging levels
We have obstacles for all abilities. Which of the six levels you can access will depend on meeting our age and height restrictions, and certain ages require adult supervision.

We recommend pre-booking ahead of your visit. You are welcome to turn up and pay ‘on the day’ however we can’t guarantee that there will be any sessions available at the time of arrival so you may need to wait a while until the next free time slot becomes available.
