A unique Capability Brown Folly Tower open to visitors wanting to experience great English heritage in an inspiring location. You can enjoy fascinating graphic displays on 3 floors plus panoramic views from the roof platform and more.
It's interesting finding out all the differing things the building has been used for over the years, including being home to a famous a printing press, site of a nuclear bunker and a vantage point for tracking enemy planes for the Royal Observer Corps!
Broadway Tower is one of England's outstanding viewpoints and at 1024 feet (312m) above sea level, it is the 2nd highest point on the Cotswold escarpment. Unrivalled views survey an expanse of a 62 mile radius and up to 16 Counties.
In the park itself you can find a Red Deer enclosure, enjoy scenic country walks, munch it up at the picnic sites and spot wildlife and wildflowers in season. You're also on the Cotswold Way here so there's excellent cycling surfaces too!
Once you're into the grounds and have better views of the exterior of the tower it's a great time to pull out the binoculars or camera with a zoom lens as the outside is festooned with turrets, balconies, battlements and gargoyles!
