Kerr's Miniature Railway
Arbroath, Dundee and AngusAbout Kerr's Miniature Railway
Kerr's Miniature Railway has 6 engines with two being steam! The steam engines only run on a Sunday and if the sun is out, but are a great treat for children! You can sometimes get your picture taken beside the engine!
The railway also has a bus and fire engine where children can have a ride in along the promenade. This always puts a smile on their faces! Also when on the train, try and look out for the many birds that live at the railway!
After a short ride, you can then go to the nearby play park, beach or have a picnic on the grass beside the railway. Children enjoy looking at the engines in the shed over the fence.
It is best to see the railway on a warm sunny day when the atmosphere is bright and can make your visit very enjoyable! The railway also has a shop where you can buy 'Thomas' gifts, bespoke railway items and trains toys (so bring your pennies). There are toilets in the park near the entrance, so make sure you take your children there first so they are not crying 'I need a wee wee!' There is also lots of parking spaces available at the entrance to the park.
