Brechin, Dundee and AngusAbout Brechin Castle Centre
Families of Dundee and Angus, are you looking for a day out packed full of fun, thrills & laughter? Begin your outdoor adventures today at the Brechin Castle Centre and explore a wide range of activities from 9-hole footgolf courses to crazy golf, Fairy trails, giant sandpits, sledge runs and so much more!
Psst, the popular Country Park also has a Cafe and Garden Centre, plus loads of kid's activities in the Park and in a Yard Play Area too...
Now, it's time to get into the deets... Let's gooooooo!
Things to do
Take a mesmerising trek deep in the woodlands on the intriguing Fairy Trail! This family-friendly trail is a great way to explore the magic of the outdoors as you pass by peculiar wooden sculptures, hidden doorways and fairy houses! Sadly due to the rugged terrain, this trail isn't suitable for pushchairs or wheelchair users.
Get your fix of thrills in epic sporting activities like go-karts, the sledge run or crazy golf! Kids and parents will love the excitement of whizzing down the wooden track as many times as they wish.
There is also a vibrant set-up of crazy golf with plenty of wacky obstacles and ramps to overcome during each course! Try your hand - or should we say feet - at foot golf! This is a brand NEW feature at the activity centre whereby the person with the fewest kicks, wins!
Skrrr all around the pathways in your hot new set of wheels. Anyone from the age of 3 - 99 years old can have a go at this activity. There are different colours and sizes of go-karts to pick from so you can tailor your sweet new ride to your personality!
Next on the agenda: The Wooden Maze... *gasps*. Can you beat the confusing maze and find your way to the flagpole in time? Kids will enter the maze with their parents and try their best not to get lost!
There are so many excellent play features for youngsters to get stuck into from tractor and digger-looking playgrounds with slides and tunnels to giant sandpits, a Farm Play Courtyard, jumping pillows, a Barrel Train and the Dragon's Lair... The Dragon's Lair has lots of traditional play features with adult/baby swings, slides, a play fort, a zip wire & more!
Fun isn't restricted to the land either... On certain days of the week, you can enjoy watching the model boats being raced on the lake!
The Brechin Castle Centre has so many amazing activities for all ages to enjoy. So if you are looking for some outdoor fun with your youngsters where you don't have to stand and watch from the sidelines, then a day out at The Brechin Castle Centre is perfect for you!
Food & Drink
Spoil yourself with some home-baked goodies while you soak up the picturesque setting of the Country Park and lake in the Coffee Shop. The Coffee Shop is located in the Brechin Castle Garden Centre.

The Coffee is famous for its Earth-stopping meringues, you have to try them during your visit! There is a wide range of hot tasty meals on offer too from full-cooked breakfasts to children's lunchboxes!
There are also gluten-free options available too and you can heat up your baby food.
