The park has 170 acres of open grasslands, woodlands, wildflower meadows and lakes to explore, with designated walking and cycling paths and trails that wind through the picturesque landscape. The park's lush green grasslands provide the perfect spot for picnics, games, or simply soaking up the sun (when it's out!). Grab your blanket, unpack your picnic basket and let the kids run free while you enjoy the scenic beauty around you.
Psstt... if you are feeling brave be sure to check out Nuns Bridge (it's said to be haunted!).
The park is also home to a wealth of wildlife including birds, ducks, butterflies, dragonflies and other creatures just waiting to be discovered! What creatures will you spot? Oh! And make sure to stop by the lake! It's absolutely stunning and perfect for a little retreat away from the bustle of city life.
Play Area
The park also features 4 well-equipped play areas where children can let their imaginations run wild, climbing, sliding, and swinging to their hearts' content.
The sensory zone is perfect for toddlers and those in wheelchairs as it features nature-themed play panels and climbing equipment, along with musical elements for sensory exploration. The Grasslands play area was designed for children aged 5 and over as it has slightly more challenging climbing structures integrated into the natural grassland surroundings. The Wetlands zone features the Robina Play Duck for claiming and role play, while Squirrels Dray provides a toddler-friendly introduction to climbing and swinging.

There are plenty of picnic areas around the lovely park for you to enjoy but if you are looking for a delicious cafe to stop by then you have to check out the Hinchingbrooke Country Park Cafe.
