About High Adventure
High Adventure is a busy Outdoor Education Centre that works full time with thousands of young people from around the country. At weekends the general public can access our fantastic facilities and book an activity session for the whole family. The adults don't have to take part but you will be missing out!
Our instructors are all outdoor professionals working full time and have the qualifications and experience the activities demand.
We have 2 hour and 3 hour sessions available every weekend and if you want to make a weekend of it we have weekend courses running in climbing, caving and canoeing throughout the year.
Our 2 hour sessions are:
Archery and axe throwing
Aerial Adventure - Zip-line, leap of faith and abseil
Bushcraft workshop
Our 3 hour sessions are:
Caving (in our artificial cave)
Canoeing and Giant SUPs

Longest Artificial Cave in the UK
Book our Cave Adventure for a unique activity for the whole family. Create lasting memories with the family with this safe and adventurous event. Our artificial cave built aroung our site at High Adventure has features to replicate real caving but has plenty of escape points. There's mud, water, rocks and tunnels aplenty. Our staff are our most important asset. They are all professionally qualified and experienced in the activities they run. It's not just a weekend job, High Adventure is a busy Outdoor Education Centre and our instructors work full time.
Fantastic range of activities on one site
High Adventure has all of it's bookable land based activities on one site. We have the longest artificial cave in the UK, climbing wall, abseil Tower, high ropes course, zip-line, bouldering room, archery, low ropes, axe throwing and a purpose built bushcraft classroom.
