About Herrings Green Activity Farm & Birds of Prey Centre
Herrings Green Activity Farm & Birds of Prey Centre is one of the largest in the UK, with various species of eagles, hawks, owls, falcons, vultures and kites.
A visit to the centre is enjoyable and educational as you get to learn about conservation, the different birds and their habitats. There are three different flying displays held each day that last at least 30 minutes. After the first two displays, you get the chance to meet and handle some of the owls. This is also a great chance to ask the falconers any questions, or to take a quick picture.
A number of activity days and courses are available, from hour long sessions to whole, and half days. There are Junior Experiences, especially for kids, with the opportunity to handle and fly a number of birds. If you want to arrange a birthday party with a difference, these are on offer too.
A variety of activities for kids are also held throughout the year, such as the Young Falconers Club and a Junior Field Sports club.
