Kempston Outdoor Centre offer a full range of adventurous and outdoor education activities, and national award training on and off site. More than enough to train, strain and happy-brain your active kids over 6!
Stand out features for families include the indoor bouldering and thrilling roped climbing, plus more climbing outdoors on their 4 story climbing and abseiling tower! If you're enjoying the view up there then some other mile high joys available include a tricky High Ropes course with aerial crate stack, Balance Beams, Jacob's Ladder, ‘Leap of Faith' and All Aboard game. You're all lightly but safely tethered on throughout and it's a great chance to get the kids to of their comfort zone but with the reassurance of mum and dad along. Or vice versa of course!
Other fabulous activities closer to the ground include: canoeing and kayaking in a wide variety of craft now including the very sociable 8 seat rafted canoes, plus sit-on-top kayaks. Too wet? Try the navigation orienteering and archery - either way whatever you fancy and however hard you fancy doing it, there's something here waiting to eat your energy and revitalise your store of anecdotes!
