Like Babe, Charlotte and many beloved characters before them, Standalone Farm is teeming with creatures ready to make new friends.
The whole classic cast is here, from cows and sheep to chickens and ducks. Throw in an alpaca or two and you’ve got yourself a farmyard party! Kids are encouraged to get up close and say hello, or stroke a few fluffy heads. They can even take part in pony grooming and regular feeding, or watch and learn with a milking demonstration. All are great ways to get to grips with life on a farm.
The team are always excited to get families involved, something they do with regular special events including costumed characters and live performances. The absolute must-not-miss though is a tractor ride around the grounds, particularly on your way to the adventure playground!
- Meet the many fluffy and feathered locals
- Groom ponies or watch cow milking
- Hitch a tractor ride!

Dissapointing 2 out of 5 stars
We have been to standalone a couple of times since our little one was born 2 yrs ago, and each time has been equally as dissapointing, £7 per adult isn’t crazily xpensive, but it is when you only get 3/4 different animals and a few birds in the mix to see, i would say that you could walk round in half an hour then it gets pretty boring!! Even the cafe is ridiculous prices, £3 per small slice of cake!!! So....needless to say....we certainly won’t be visiting this year anytime soon!!Suzie88
Lovely farm 5 out of 5 stars
My 2 year old thoroughly enjoyed this farm and I was very impressed too. Plenty of animals to see and interact with - we met the donkeys, fed a lamb, groomed a pony and held a guinea pig. You aren't able to feed or stroke many of the animals outside of these sessions which I felt was a positive thing for the animals as the staff are on hand to make sure they don't come to any harm. The play area was also fantastic, and the model railway very entertaining. There is a small cafe which is very reasonably priced. We liked it so much we bought a family membership.Nickit
