A fun boat ride for all the family various trip lengths. Grab an icecream or pizza on Harwich Pier before taking a 15 minute trip on Harbour Ferry to Landguard beach in Felixstowe or 5 minutes ride over to Shotley Marina and back. Alternatively children love sitting on the ferry for an hour round trip taking in the sights of the huge container ships. If you are lucky you will spot a Porpoise in the water. There are toilets, parking and food facilities at all departure/arrival points.

Take a ride on Harwich Harbour Ferry to have a perfect view of the Port of Felixstowe with the giant container ships. Enjoy a great day out with all the family on our boat. Just 30 minute drive from Colchester or a 15 minutes from Ipswich, you can take in the sights of the Historic Harwich Harbour, with a ride on our foot and bicycle ferry.
Enjoy an hour round trip or get off and explore each destination. Its the easiest way to hop across to Essex from Suffolk or visa versa. Linking Harwich in Essex with Shotley and Felixstowe in Suffolk, where the River Stour and River Orwell meet. The ferry service runs between April and October, providing a frequent service for tourists to East Anglia.
Sail to Harwich for a 2 hour seal watching trip with sealwatching.co.uk or stroll to the sandy Dovercourt beach. Dont forget to grab a pizza from Milsoms new Harwich Pier Italian, before heading back. Visit Felixstowe’s new big Ferris wheel and new sea front attractions. You can walk or cycle from the ferry along the seafront to Felixstowe pier. Or if you prefer stay onboard for an hour round trip, taking in the sights of the harbour and the river mouths.
