Attraction Information
Elham Valley Railway Museum is a really something for the whole family. If you like local history, artefacts, and memorabilia of this the golden age of the railway, pleasant gardens, ducks, doves and trains, then this is the place to visit.
The bygone age has been lovingly recreated just for you. You can rest assured that you will not see too much of your children as they will have lots of things to do and see to keep them interested. Just try and get them away from the signal box, or the steam engine. Come to think of it, you might just have some difficulty with Dad as well as the children!
See also the largest running railway model of the Channel Tunnel (Folkestone Terminal) it is unbelievable. Mum, if she prefers, can relax with a nice cup of tea and listen to the music of the 'good old days'.
