Dino Park
Dumfries, Dumfries and GallowayAbout Dino Park
Fancy a Jurassic jaunt this weekend? Dino Park does exactly what is says on the tin, with dinosaurs aplenty and loads of prehistoric activities.
Step into the land before time - an estimated 150 million years ago - and marvel at the giants who once roamed the earth. You’ll find them by venturing underneath a volcano and into the Dino Mine. From there head into the Dino Den where you’ll hear fact and fiction from the park rangers. They have plenty of tales - or rather tails (!) - up their sleeves and loads of educational info about the dinosaurs of today. If you still have an appetite for learning, join a Dino Dig and search for fossils and bones beneath the sand.
They’ve got all the extras covered with a bouncy castle, storytelling, an outdoor and a brand new indoor play area too. There’s also online colouring downloads so kids can pick their favourite beast before arrival. Then when you’re there enjoy some tasty home baking at the Dino Bite Café
- Interactive dinosaur themed park
- Activities ranging from storytelling to fossil hunting
- An educational day of fun
