About Darts

We are darts. We make high-quality, inclusive, creative experiences across the borough of Doncaster. Our programmes are open to everyone, particularly those who have the least access to the arts. Our purpose is for anyone in Doncaster to learn and connect by taking part in the arts. Our mission is for everyone to feel an accepted and valued part of the community, creating a healthier and more connected society.

Parking/Public Transport

address: The Point, 16 South Parade, Doncaster, DN1 2DR. The Point is a white building opposite The Regent Hotel and Regent Square. cycling: There is a safe space to lock bikes to while at The Point located at the top of Hall Gate, opposite Prego Coffee Shop. bus: The Point is approximately a 12 minute walk from Doncaster Interchange. A number of buses also stop on South Parade including the numbers 21, 25, 29, 55, 56, 72, 73 and 99. Use the Travel South Yorkshire Journey Planner to plan your visit by bus. train: The Point is approximately a 12 minute walk from Doncaster train station via High Street and Hall Gate. Use the National Rail Enquiries Journey planner to plan your visit by train. car: If travelling from the north, Doncaster town centre is accessible from either the A1(M), via the A638, A635 or A630, or the M18 via the A6182 at Junction 3. From the south, if travelling on the M1, follow the sign post to the M18 (north) and exit at Junction 3 (A6182). park and ride: There are nine Park & Ride facilities in Doncaster. Please visit the South Yorkshire Passenger Transport website for more information. parking: Please note that The Point’s car park is for staff only. There is one disabled space available for a Blue Badge holder which must be booked in advance (email hello@thepoint.org.uk or ring 01302 341662). There is lots of on street parking available on Chequer Road, South Parade and Hall Cross Hill FREE up to 2 hours. Scarborough House (Saturday only) – charges may apply Council House (Saturday only) – charges may apply Chamber Road – charges may apply (2x electric vehicle charging spaces) For more information, visit Doncaster Council’s website.
