About Boston Park Farm

Boston Park Farm is a traditional working farm, with the farm park which is open to the public, all year around, and allows children to get up close with a wide range of farm animals. You can pet and feed most of the animals and also join in with animal handling sessions. The whole experience is geared up to suit children up to around 12 years old.

We have outdoor climbing frames, swings, slides, a tractor track, mud kitchens musical nature trail and a bale pyramid to climb. Also inside there is an indoor soft play area which is suitable for children up to 8yrs old, an indoor bouncy castle, play kitchen and a large indoor sandpit. You and your child can have hours of fun exploring everything we have to offer here at the farm.

We are a family run farm attraction!

The farm is run by David & Mandy Chappell along with Lucy & Ruth, David's daughters. They family have been farming at Boston Park since 1976 and really love being able to show you a little part of their farm. The farm attraction opened in 2000 with just the maize maze in the summer and has grown massively each year, with new additions being added all the time.

Also part of the team are two more daughters Amy and Mary who are both qualified teachers and run the farmer groups, school vistis and home educations sessions.

It really is a family affair!

Get up close to all the animals

We have a wide range of friendly farm animals from bouncing bunnies, playful goats and cute piggies. All year round there are new babies being born for everyone to see. All the animals at the farm are super friendly and love to be fed and stroked. You can feed some shop bought feed to most of them and we have animal handling session everyday at 11.30 & 2:30.

Plus don't miss out on our lambing event every February half term when you can bottle feed lambs and maybe even see a lamb being born!

The farm is dedicated to education

It is so important for children (and adults) to understand the importance of farms and where their food comes from, what better way to do this than getting involved in farm life.

There are farmer parent and child groups at the farm suitable from birth up to 11 years, they are run on a weekly basis and are super popluar.

There is also an extensive school visits programme for EYFS and Primary aged children plus regular Home Education session. So there really is something for all ages.
