Curtis Museum is a family friendly museum that is free to visit, with plenty to do at the museum, plus changing exhibitions to see in the Allen Gallery! They also run a regular programme of family oriented activities and events, that include bookable workshops, and drop in ‘make and take' activities.
Explore over 100 million years of history through one of the finest history collections in Hampshire, with displays that include Saxon burials, prehistoric tools, Roman pottery reconstruction, the 1643 Battle of Alton, and more.
Kids are always made to feel welcome, they won't say “Ssshhh!!” and they will try not to tell you not to touch stuff too often! They also try to ensure that objects, labels, and pictures are at a suitable height for kids to see, and if they aren't you can borrow step up steps.
