Attraction Information

Situated between Farnham and Hindhead on either side of the A287 is the green flag award-winning site of Frensham Great Pond.

The man-made beach stretches along a 13th century lake giving ample opportunity to sunbathe and swim in warm weather – just remember to check the water quality first! The woodland trails and bridle paths around the pond and common provide plenty of opportunity to enjoy nature!

Spot rare birds and other small wildlife around the pond, make dens with the fallen branches or go pond dipping. Dogs are welcome along the designated dog route surrounding the beach area, but not on the beach itself.  The pond gets very busy in the summer months so get there early to make the most of this amazing outdoor space!

Dip into nature down at the pond!
