Things To Do
Did you know there are two ponds? Frensham Great Pond and Frensham Little Pond! Both are great places to start exploring as a family.
They're also a wildlife sanctuary and gives plenty of opportunities for birdwatchers, with over 50 species of birds having been recorded in the area!
Beach
If you fancy a sun, sea, and sandy day, head to the sandy beach near Frensham Pond! It's the perfect way to spend your hot summer days! However, to ensure swimming is allowed, you must check the water quality before swimming.
Walking
The woodland trails and bridle paths around the ponds and common provide plenty of opportunity to enjoy nature! The precious heathland is a beautiful sight to see whilst walking with a colourful mosaic of purple heathers, yellow gorse and other wild plants.
There's also the fragrant woodland to wander through, where you'll discover tranquil wildlife! Not to mention walking along the coastal paths gazing at the glistening water. It's the perfect outdoor adventure!

Dogs are welcome along the designated dog route surrounding the beach area, but not on the beach itself. The pond gets very busy in the summer months and on bank holidays. So, get there early to make the most of this amazing outdoor space!

There is a cafe that is open all year round and sells a range of refreshments, including cold and hot drinks.
You can also find ice creams, burgers, bacon rolls, chips, and baked goodies!
