Go Ape Alice Holt is an award-winning forest adventure that will have your kids flying through the air with the greatest of ease! Mini monkeys will be spoilt for choice with rope ladders, zip lines, trapezes and massive crossings, all housed high in the canopy.
Returning this autumn - Sundown Adventures!
Back by popular demand. Experience tree top thrills in a whole new light across 25 locations for a limited time between 17th October and 9th November. Go Ape Sundown Adventures offer a new level of forest fun in the dark. Become a creature of the night as you climb through the canopy on a high ropes course lit with colourful lights. Test your skills on tree top crossings and experience the thrill of a zip wire ride into the darkness. It's a unique opportunity to enjoy the forest's beauty and experience the adrenaline rush of adventure after dark. The experience takes one to two hours, and the Go Ape team are around to help throughout. It starts with a safety briefing and harness fitting. For ages 6 and up (minimum height 1.2 metres) this is an adventure that will delight kids and adults alike.
Fun Activities for Thrill Seekers
Fancy an incredible adventure the whole family can enjoy together? Take on the Treetop Adventure, which is full of exciting obstacles (including wobbly bridges and intricate crossings), and is suitable for anyone over 1m tall, it gets even the tiniest tots involved! It's a great way to catch stunning views from the forest canopy as well as get your daily dose of thrill! And for all you zipline fanatics! There's even an epic zip line experience thrown into the mix too!
For slightly older kids, there's Treetop Adventure PLUS - an additional loop on the current Treetop Adventure course. Even bigger daredevils can face the gigantic Treetop Challenge course with a breathtaking 126-metre zip line! It's 2-3 hours of epic laughs and gut-wrenching heights - are you up for the challenge?
Before you ask, no, you don't have to head for heights to have fun! If you want something fun a little closer to the ground and on the forest floor, explore the Alice Holt Forest on one of the family adventure trails.
As well as three high ropes courses to suit ages 4 and above, a new Nets Adventure, suitable for 1 years old and up is launching. Bounce on nets, play with giant inflatable balls and slide back down to earth, this unique activity is perfect for younger ones (or those who are young at heart)
Top Tip! Keep an eye out for silver screen locations as well, since scenes from box office smash like Gladiator, Skyfall and Captain America were filmed in the Royal Forest!
You can even hire one of Go Ape's forest bikes and take to the beautiful woodland in the perfect two-wheeled adventure! We'd definitely recommend forest biking!
Food & Drink
High-wire adventures really take it out of you, don't they? When you need to replenish your energy, take a load off and pop over to the Alice Holt Forest Cafe for some refreshments and food. Also, you can bring your own picnic and relax in the picnic area while looking out over the beautiful forest!

By Car
The peak time for card park is between 10am – 2pm. If you have a booking with us during that time, we advise that you arrive early.
By Train
The nearest station is at Bentley, approximately three miles from the Forest Centre. From here you can walk through Alice Holt Forest to the forest centre along public rights of way.
You can also take the train to Farnham and catch the Stagecoach number 18 bus to the Forest.
