Attraction Information

Compton Verney is delighted to welcome visitors with children. Whatever the weather, there is something for every member of your family to enjoy.

From the children's adventure playground, willow tunnels and nature trails to all weather explorer backpacks and arty activities every school holiday; there's always plenty to capture the imagination, stimulate the mind and keep your children happy and interested.

The resource and discovery rooms offer a range of books and activities to help you and your family find out more about what's available. Free all weather family backpacks are a great way for you and your children to explore the Compton Verney collections together. Discover five different packs for various ages at the Family Unit.

Pick up one of four free grounds trails and explore the 120 acres of Compton Verney's parkland with fun hands-on activities for children and adults to enjoy together. The brand new Moore Rodin trail is especially designed to guide you around the Moore Rodin exhibition and help you explore the sculptures in the park.

Explore Nature's Art Box on the south lawn and get creative in the grounds using natural materials to make your very own land art.

Climb, swing and explore in our children's adventure playground or hide away in the willow tunnels. Most activities require no booking, so all you have to do is turn up and join in the fun.
