Bude Leisure Centre on Stucley Road, close to Bude's beaches and Sea Pool, is one of the best rainy-day family destinations in Cornwall. The 37m x 11m pool has a 33-metre flume with an aqua-catch and a wave machine that runs every 15 minutes during Family Fun Swim sessions - kids absolutely love it. There's also a shallow beach area for little ones to build confidence at their own pace, and a Better Swim School programme for all ages. A 50+ station gym, poolside cafe and pickleball courts round out the offering, making this a genuine day-out spot rather than just a swim.
