About Celtic Canoes
You don't need to be experienced to have an adventure with Celtic Canoes!
Families can choose from an Open Canoe Instruction session or Guided Trips if you're beginners and simple Canoe Hire for those who know what they're doing and want to go it alone!
If you want to go without a guide then the friendly experts on hand will kit you out with mapping and directions for the route deemed best suited to your group's experience and stamina, to be sure you don't get out of your depth!
A Half Day trip covers 5 miles, a Full Day 10 miles. There are both 2 and 3 seater boats, but the 3 seater will comfortably accommodate 2 parents and 2 children if the children are small and this is permitted so it's a lovely way to keep the kids close on your adventure.
Your hire fees cover the canoe itself, buoyancy aids all round, paddles, dry bag or barrel depending on vessel, a nice clear map, and timely recovery from your stop point. Handy!
