The Core
Hereford, HerefordshireAbout The Core
The Core is the new name for Herefordshire Roller Skating club and is primarily a Roller Rink, but also offers laser tag games, an Archery Club, and a Futsal Club. It has the first permanent skate rink in the heart of the city and holds regular roller skating sessions, which are a really fun way to get active with the kids. Local kids aged between 7 and 16 years old can join the Poison Berries Junior Roller Derby team, which is always looking for new members and allows kids to work through 3 levels of positional contact skills. Thy have sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays.
An Under 10s Futsal club is held every Wednesday, which offers a variant of association football. It played on a smaller field, which means it can be done inside and is therefore not weather dependant. An Archery club is held every Thursday, with an indoor Winter programme, which means it can continue throughout the year. Kids aged 8 and older can play Laser Tag on Fridays, although this is based on demand, so please contact them before your visit to confirm it is being played that evening. Check online for other events that are held during the year, such as 70s Roller Disco!
