Public Walks: with a maximum of 8 people, all public tours start at 11:00 from the South (High Street) side of Southampton's Bargate Monument, the medieval northern gateway to the town, and take in the western and most historically intact side of the town, to the themed Medieval Walls and Vaults Walk".
Armchair Tours: for those of limited mobility, special needs or simply prefer to see it all from indoors they offer privately booked seated tours, which are conducted by a guide using photographic slides and Powerpoint presentations.
Coach Tours: they also offer full and half day coach tours and also car tours for groups of smaller number. They do only provide the tour guide, you have to organise the coach etc. yourselves, though they are happy to do that too for a charge if you contact them far enough in advance.
Numerous subsidised tours provided by the STGA with varying schedules - primarily on weekends during the morning but be sure to check their website
Public walks are free for all
