Siblyback Lake is surrounded by the striking Bodmin Moor offering a wide range of activities for adventurers of all ages. There is plenty to do at this scenic lake including miles of walks, cycle trails, kids' play areas and a cafe overlooking the water. Whether you are looking for a quiet retreat or an action-packed break, Siblyback has something for all to enjoy.
The 3-mile round lake path is popular with walkers, runners and cyclists and is also suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. The path, which runs adjacent to the lake, passes by the impressive Siblyback Dam and through woodlands.
Don't forget to bring a camera, because Siblyback is home to a variety of wildlife, so make sure you visit the bird-hide and enjoy spotting the amazing array of flora and fauna surrounding you. Take to the water and hire a variety of watersports equipment including kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddleboards or, if you have your own kit, you can even launch it on the lake. You can also extend your stay and camp next to the lake. The small and family-friendly-campsite has a choice of electric and non-electric pitches for tents and small motorhomes.

Embrace the outdoors and explore Siblyback Lake on foot. The 5km round-lake path is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs with stunning lake views. Enjoy the scenic off-road path on your bike as it passes through countryside and woodland. Dogs on leads are welcome.

Fun on dry land
Try your hand at fly fishing! Siblyback fly fishery is regularly stocked with rainbow trout and home to a large population of resident brown trout.
