Birds of all different colours, shapes and caws have made their nest at Birdland; come and make some feathered friends for life.
This is one of the largest collections of exotic birds in the UK with free-flying displays, feeding sessions and talks, as well as the England’s only breeding colony of king penguins. You can spot flamingos and pelicans or get in a flap over their Out of Africa experience. Some of the continents most curious creatures live here, in particular village weavers whose nest-building prowess is something to behold.
Not everyone knows this, but dinosaurs have more in common with modern-day birds than reptiles. In fact, many of them even had feathers! Explore the similarity at Jurassic Journey where daring visitors can uncover fossils and see life-size dinos - just don’t forget to return to the present and meet guinea pigs, snakes and more at the Encounter Zone.

A day out 4 out of 5 stars
A great day out we all enjoyed it alot, animals all clean and lovely, kids had loads of fun, what really lets things down is its lacking in toilets the only ones available are in the cafe none available around the park. When you can manage to get to them after the long wait they were very dirty and not well kept in very cramped conditions not what you need when you have children with you, put more facilities in and you have a perfect day out.Anonymous
