The Only Lido in Leicestershire
Ashby Leisure Centre & Lido is home to the only outdoor lido in Leicestershire - and it's been a local favourite since 1929. The heated 30m x 10m pool is open throughout the summer for public swimming, lane swimming, and raft and float sessions, making it a brilliant destination for families on a sunny day.
What makes it extra special for younger visitors is the Ashby-by-the-Sea beach area - a sandy play zone complete with climbing equipment and sand toys right beside the pool. There's also a catering hub on site for refreshments, so you can make a full day of it. The lido can also be hired for private parties and events during the summer season - perfect for a birthday celebration with a difference.
