Walkers are more than welcome too – and don’t leave your furry friend at home either, as they'll enjoy a walk around the trails! Venture into the woods and discover a range of trails that you can stroll along!
Don't forget to embark on your brand new forest adventure with The Gruffalo! It's his 25th birthday, so he needs all his party items. Can you find them all?
With a little imagination and spirit for adventure, the entire Hicks Lodge becomes a playground. From a classic game of hide and seek to den building in the woods - there’s plenty of fun nature can offer. Need a rest? There’s a bike hire hub and a cosy cafe, featuring a fantastic play area designed for younger kids.
For those looking to get up close and personal with the local wildlife, be sure to visit the lakeside bird hide. From here, you can soak in the breathtaking scenery and spot unique creatures such as the migratory sand martins.
With beautiful scenery, a family forest trail, cycling trails and a beautiful lake - you'll have a fab day out!
