The Eling Mill is one of only a handful of its kind, still left in the UK, so don’t miss your chance to see it in action!
To make the visit truly exciting for the little ones, the Eling Tide Mill Experience is as hands-on as they come. Your curious little explorers are welcome to enter the Discovery Room and get interactive with quern stones and a working model of a tide mill. There are also opportunities to play dress-up and try on period costumes from the old days.
Be sure to sample the goods before you leave! Have a bite to eat at the Mill Café or buy some freshly ground flour at the gift shop. The Eling Tide Mill is surrounded by beautiful riverside walks. Make the most of your day and go for a relaxing family stroll in nature. The area is home to various wildlife, including plenty of crabs, so you can even take the little ones fishing!
