Saddle your children up to make the most of the castle cycle route, which takes you through the park and links up with the North East Network and enjoy stunning views along the way. Depending on how far you go, you can always hop on a regular train to come back if little legs get too tired!
In the summer months you can make the most of the water play area, where children can run through squirting and shooting mini fountains to cool off from the heat! For a small charge you can ride on the small fairground and enjoy a coffee and ice cream in the café.
