Half-hour City Cruises are just right for young sailors, travelling to the city limits and giving an introduction to the city's Roman, Medieval, and Industrial past. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as ducks, swans, cormorants, and kingfishers.
Make the most of your day in Chester by combining your half-hour crusie with an open top City Sightseeing bus tour (from April to October). Ask for a Combined ticket, enjoy your half-hour cruise, then step aboard the tour bus for a one-hour round trip or 24 hours of hop on hop off travel around the city.
For a longer adventure, Two-hour Iron Bridge Cruises head out of the city and through the leafy Cheshire countryside, up to the Duke of Westminster's Eaton Estate. Pack a picnic and enjoy a drink from the bar on this leisurely cruise.
A highlight of the calendar is our Santa Special Cruises in December. Our VIP guest from the North Pole will be landing on the Lady Diana with a sack full of festive books, and the ChesterBoat elves will be on hand with plenty of activities, refreshments, songs, and fun.

From The Groves we head upstream past the fabulous homes and gardens of Boughton and out into the leafy Cheshire countryside of the Duke of Westminster's Eaton Estate.

We are open daily from February half term until mid December, and selected dates out of season. Please see our website for exact sailing dates and times.

Our moorings are served by the City Sightseeing tour bus (April to October). We are approximately a 20 minutes walk from Chester Bus Interchange for other bus routes, and 25-30 minute walk from Chester Railway Station.
