A percentage of your admission helps us preserve native species!

We’re bringing wildlife closer to home! Did you know a percentage of your admission goes towards helping us preserve native species across the region- so with every visit you are helping to support local wildlife too!

Our 3 conservation sites in Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire cover 46.5 acres of land with a sole aim to protect and manage native habitats and species – that’s everything from butterflies and bees, flowers and insects, wild birds, various mammals and even red deer!

Here at the wildlife park we love to actively support native species too - can you spot our bug hotels, wildlife ponds or one of our 150 bird boxes on site? We also are home to one of the largest populations of tree sparrow too!

We continue to partner with wildlife charities and organisations to help protect endangered species and raise vital funds for some of the world's most vulnerable animals and their natural habitats, from parrots and crocodiles to the humble hedgehog!

Thanks to our visitors, PURO Fairtrade coffee and tea sales here at the park have also led to the purchase and protection of over 22 acres of rainforest, that’s over 5000 trees!

Come as a caterpillar, leave as a butterfly!

Get ready for awesome adventures every day! You won't want to miss our amazing Animal Antics show* where birds fly right over your head!

Want to get even closer? Join our amazing Animal Encounters and Keeper Talks* and meet the funny meerkats of Meerkat Mansion and leaping lemurs in Lemur Heights!

Purchase one of our animal feed bundles* to feed the friendly residents of the farm barn along with meerkats, porcupines and the wallabies of the Wilderness Walkthrough or playful otters at Otter Springs - it's bite-sized fun for everyone!

Go wild in our splash zone, sandpits and play parks! Jump on board the tractor-trailer ride, make a daring discovery on the Dino Trail and hunt for fossils in the Dino Dig or look out for minibeasts on our wildlife nature trail!

When you're feeling hungry, there’s treats for everyone at the Butterfly Café*, the cool Big Red Bus* or Lottie’s Coffee Lounge with its glorious outdoor seating and dining pods! You can also bring your own picnic to our indoor and outdoor picnic spots.
