Clumber Park
Worksop, NottinghamshireAbout Clumber Park
Fancy a stroll through Nottingham's rolling countryside and peaceful woodlands? Situated on the corner of the ancient forest - Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park promises a nature day out unlike any other!
Things To Do
Clumber Park is a grade 1 registered Historic Park/Garden (now under the care of the National Trust) with over 3'800 acres of beautiful parkland to explore! The park features scenic woodlands comprised of ancient trees, mature trees and an array of wildlife as well as the several miles of paths and cycle tracks surrounding the 83-acre Clumber Lake. Psstt.. there are over 120 different types of tree at National Trust's Clumber Park! You can be sure that your next nature day out will be full of scenic wonder and lots of fun.
Oh and make sure to take the short detour to Clumber Bridge (it has the best view of the lake and the 19th Century Clumber Chapel!). Make sure to also head over to the longest avenue of Lime Trees in Europe at Clumber Park. It's a must-visit.
Grab your bike and zip along their scenic bike trails, or take a leisurely stroll through the woodlands and keep your eyes peeled for friendly wildlife along the way!
If the good ol’ British weather doesn’t hold out and it does rain, then head indoors to the Discovery Centre to learn about the curious creatures that live on the grounds. For some play time indoors, stop by the Burrow Play Centre - it has soft play for the under 3s and activities for older kids too.
If you’re looking to create some wonderful memories and spend some quality family time outdoors, then Clumber Park is the park for you. Autumn, winter or summer, there are plenty of outdoor adventures to be had.
