About Thoresby Park
Fancy a day out in the park? Take the kids to Thoresby Park - explore acres of beautiful parklands, have a picnic in the sun and play outside. Enjoy a stroll along the picturesque 2.5km signposted walk through the woodlands (it’s pushchair-friendly, as well), or get off the beaten track and discover the park on your own.
Learn some local history at The Queen’s Royal Lancers and Nottinghamshire Yeomanry Museum, which tells the story of three old and famous cavalry regiments. It’s educational, it’s fun for all ages and best of all - it’s absolutely free!
If that’s not enough to spark your interest, Thoresby Park holds all sorts of big and small events throughout the year, from theatre and falconry to sensory play dates. Don’t forget to check out their schedule before you go!
