About North Scarle Miniature Railway
North Scarle Miniature Railway is a ground level, five and seven and a quarter inch gauge track. Over time this track has been extended to give a track size of some 2,000 ft to travel on. The journey takes you around the field, over a crossing, past the new station and through a couple of tunnels with pleasing scenery in between. They only seem to offer scattered running days so do please always check their notices before leaving, but they do also offer events and the classic Santa Special seasonally which are worth waiting for. It should be noted that their only phone number is for the Safety Officer, so maybe use email instead for casual enquiries! They have a junior membership scheme if the kids are really into learning their chuff.
