It’s the perfect place for kids and teens to get moving, try something new, or just have a blast with friends.
The Plumstead Centre is located in a super cool building that’s a mix of old and new. It’s been freshly refurbished, but many of the building’s original features from the early 1900s have been kept, which gives it a unique, vintage vibe. But don’t worry, it’s packed with modern facilities, too! The Centre has everything from a 33-station gym with top-notch equipment to two dance studios where you can show off your moves.
If you’re into sports, there’s a badminton court for a quick game with friends, and there’s even a soft play area for little siblings to run wild in. For those who love a good event or creative workshop, there are meeting rooms and a large open space where arts and culture activities happen regularly. Plus, there's a café where you can grab a snack and chill after your workout or hangout session.
But wait, here’s where it gets really cool: Performing Arts! The Plumstead Centre has dance, drama, and music classes for kids and teens who are ready to show off their skills (or start learning something new!). Whether you’re into Ballet, Tap Dance, Hip Hop, Street Dance, Drama, or even Musical Theatre, they’ve got classes that’ll make you feel like a star.
If you’re not sure which class to pick, don’t stress! You can try a free taster class to see what you like best. It’s a great way to get a feel for the atmosphere and see if it’s the right fit for you. All the classes are designed to be fun while helping you get stronger, more coordinated, and just better at whatever you’re passionate about. Plus, the instructors are super supportive and will help you build your confidence and skills in a way that makes you feel like you’re really part of something awesome.
The Plumstead Centre is the perfect place to get creative, meet new friends, and express yourself through art and movement. Whether you want to perfect your dance routine, try acting in a play, or even sing and perform on stage, there’s a place for you here.
And for all the families out there, the Plumstead Centre has got you covered too! It's a great spot for everyone to get active, stay healthy, and have fun together. Soft Play
Looking for a fun and exciting day out with the kids? Look no further! Our soft play areas are designed to ensure your little ones have a fantastic time in a safe and welcoming environment. 🎉
We have two separate soft play zones tailored to different age groups:
Under 3’s Soft Play Area: A specially designed space for the tiniest adventurers to explore, with soft, safe play equipment perfect for little hands and feet.
3-7 Years Soft Play Area: A bigger and bouncier area for the slightly older kids, featuring more challenging obstacles and fun activities to keep them entertained for hours.
Your children’s safety and enjoyment are our top priority, so please remember that all children must be supervised by an adult at all times while they play. It’s also important to carefully read through our soft play rules before you start your play session to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time.
For added safety and comfort, please bring non-slip socks for all children using the soft play areas. These are a must to help keep those little feet steady while they climb, jump, and slide to their heart's content.
