About The Plumstead Centre
The Plumstead Centre is a newly refurbished leisure facility and cultural destination in the Plumstead area. Combining health & fitness, sports, performing arts and a library all under one roof.
The centre consists of a sensitively refurbished Grade II listed public library built in the early 1900s with many original features retained, combined with a brand new leisure facility built as an extension. The Leisure and Arts elements include a 33-station gym with top of a range of technology equipment and two dance studios, which will form the base for a Performing Arts programme.
Also included is an exciting soft play facility for under-8's, a cafe, sports area with a badminton court, as well as three meeting rooms and a large naturally lit open space for courses, hire and arts & culture events.

They are jumping, turning and leaping with excitement to welcome you to join their Performing Arts Classes!
Do you have a child who is interested in acting, singing or dancing or are they a budding musician? They could learn Ballet, Tap Dancing, Hip Hop & Street, Drama, Musical Theatre and much more with a Better Performing Arts Course.
Their courses run for tots and teens, providing community arts-based education. Come and try one of their classes for FREE and immerse yourself in a world of fun, creativity & self-expression. Get ready to be inspired! They can't wait to welcome you to the stage.
Choose from tap dance to ballet, creative dance to commercial, with their structured classes that involve a range of motion, coordination, strength and endurance.
