Don’t be fooled. Wizard Golf isn’t like your regular mini golf. Each hole at The Hole in Wand has its own story and riddle.
At Dalton Park, it’s been discovered that dragon eggs are disappearing across the land! If the potion makers run out of dragon eggs, it could mean the extinction of Wizarding Golf.
As a brave witch or wizard, your job is to try to solve the mystery. Succeed, and a delightful potion on the house awaits!
Along the way, you’ll discover magical talking portraits, a mysterious lake, a creepy castle and a chance to explore the hidden magic of County Durham.

At the end of your crazy golf adventure at Dalton Park, you’ll find out if you have the magical powers of a wizard. Each wizard, witch and warlock will be rewarded with a magic potion gift (worth £3.49) to take home.
This amazing wizard mini golf experience, complete with a free potion drink for every player, is available from just £7.49 per person.
After a magical nine-hole adventure, you can relax in our Wizard Tavern with a Cauldron Cake and enjoy a delicious potion with poisonous options for grown-up spell makers.
We even have our Little Wizards Section! Perfect for those younger witches and wizards at the start of their magical journey!

Calling all young wizards! Step into a world of magic and wonder at Little Wizards a spellbinding experience designed just for budding sorcerers.
Start your magical journey in our three enchanting cabins, where young wizards can practice spell casting, potion making, and enjoy a world of wizarding fun. Whether mastering a new incantation or brewing a mystical elixir, there's plenty of excitement to be had!
Best of all, free entry Monday - Friday! So while the little wizards embark on their adventure, grown-ups can relax with a coffee and cake in a magical setting.
If Dalton Park isn't the closest places to you... Don't worry we have multiple magical venues that might suit your needs! Explore our other enchanting 9 hole mini golfs at York, Blackpool, and Chester. Each have their own magical twists and turns and take you on a spelbinding journey through each hole steeped in the enchanting local areas.
We also have our Autism Friendly sessions! These sessions are held monthly here at The Hole In Wand Dalton Park (check our website for the specific dates) and have the following adjustments to the course:
House lights will remain on throughout the venue.
Smell units will be turned off.
The soundtracks will also be turned off.
Limited numbers.
Staff on hand to answer questions.
