Silksworth Community Pool, Tennis & Wellness Centre has lots to offer for families who want to stay active. The centre has a huge variety of indoor sports you can play with the kids, no matter the weather.
Under 8s will love to explore the brilliant multi-level soft play area where they’ll burn off all that excess energy. The soft play is situated by the cafe, so you can enjoy a moment to yourself with a coffee while the kids play.
Is your little one aged under 8 years old? This lovely soft play area at Silksworth is designed specially for the under 8s, so there's no worry about getting trampled by the big kids! There's a dedicated baby and toddler area, and then a separate section for 4-8 year olds, with plenty of space for them to enjoy their independence and clamber, climb and explore.
Designed to give you and your child time to play and learn from each other, Active Antz encourages you and your child to try a variety of activities each week. These range from exploring soft play shapes to jumping on bouncy castles, singing, crafts and much more. The session is supervised but it is not a led session, giving you the freedom to follow your child's lead and enjoy the one-to-one time with them.
The pool at Silksworth runs weekend family fun sessions, allowing you and your family a dedicated time for having fun in the water. There may be floats and toys available, and you're free to bring your own too! Perfect for helping your children to gain confidence in the water and have fun in the pool outside of their structured swimming lessons.
Please visit the leisure centre's website or the Everyone Active app to check opening times and availability of individual activities.
