Salty seafarers, unite! The Chelmsford Mystery Treasure Trail is calling out for seasoned explorers to get a whiff of the scent and uncover buried loot. Are you up to it?

Rather than a classic treasure map download your route PDF. It’s packed with tips and hints that are sure to get you on your way, especially when it comes to hunting down those clues which are hidden on statues, signposts and landmarks. They’re craftily disguised though so keep your peepers peeled.

The route should take around 1.5 hours to complete so leaving plenty of hours in the day to see the sights. Also, let’s be honest; pirates are never great timekeepers, so take the trail as you please. Just be sure to enjoy a stroll down the riverbank and pay a visit to the lock and weir.
